Quimbee is an online legal education platform dedicated to helping law students and attorneys achieve academic and professional success. We're looking for an experienced email and in-app marketing manager to take our email-marketing game to the next level. In this role, you'll be responsible for growing Quimbee’s email marketing channel and improving customer communications. This is a position of great trust and responsibility. You will be charged with communicating directly with Quimbee's customers and prospective subscribers, and in many ways, you will be the voice of our brand.

What you'll do:

  • Develop the optimization and testing roadmap for marketing campaigns through email, site, push, and in-app notifications that directly impact impact user acquisition, engagement/retention, subscriber conversion, and churn
  • Manage the relationship with our email service provider to stay on top of new product launches and ensure we’re using the tool as effectively as we can
  • Build, test and optimize B2C drip campaigns, lifecycle messaging, and product communication to accomplish quantitative business goals
  • Oversee our marketing calendar
  • Develop, execute, and manage strategic and tactical elements of the email-marketing campaigns
  • Optimize business rules that automate and drive content, triggers, audience segmentation, channel selection, creative messaging, and communications cadence
  • Provide leadership and subject-matter expertise on best practices and standards for email-list building and marketing campaigns
  • Actively manage contact list size and health, data collected, and target segments to create relevant and engaging campaigns for customers
  • Establish email-marketing initiative direction, including campaign objectives, messaging, and potential concepts
  • Create and develop targeted and trigger-based email campaigns, delivering tailored marketing messages to segments of the email list
  • Explore additional ways to serve the customer by developing new campaign types
  • Continually develop, measure, and optimize campaigns using A/B and multivariate testing

What you have:

  • Bachelor's degree from a U.S. News top 50 national or liberal arts university or college
  • 5+ years experience in email marketing CRM marketing, or customer insights (SaaS experience a plus)
  • Strong working knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • Deep experience with customer-event-driven, personalized campaigns (transactional and/or behavior-triggers)
  • Keen understanding of web-based consumer behavior and direct-marketing principles
  • Ability to offer creative marketing solutions in response to data analysis
  • U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
